NDSU sprinter Brittany Page and pole vaulter Leslie Brost were named to the Capital One Academic All-District 6 team in Division I women’s track and field by a vote of the College Sports Information Directors of America. Selections were announced May 30.

A senior from Watertown, S.D., Page owns a 4.00 cumulative grade-point average in exercise science. She is a member of four NDSU school record relay teams, including three set during the 2013 outdoor season. In all, Page has run on 19 relay teams that rank among the Bison all-time top 10 lists.

The senior from Watertown, S.D., Brost won her fourth conference title in the pole vault May 9, becoming just the third four-time event champion in Summit League history. She finished fourth at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Championships to earn first-team All-American honors. An exercise science major, Brost owns a 3.78 grade-point average.

Page and Brost become the fifth and sixth women in NDSU’s Division I era to earn first-team Academic All-District honors.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
