Impact Fund applications sought

SHARE

Doug Mayo, President/CEO of the NDSU Development Foundation and Alumni Association, is seeking grant proposals for projects with an immediate and positive impact on the educational experience of NDSU students.

The foundation is offering grants of $20,000-$75,000 to faculty, staff and recognized student groups through the NDSU Impact Fund Grant Program. The program is funded by unrestricted contributions from alumni, parents and friends, and from proceeds from the annual Bison Bidders Bowl.

Successful proposals, which will receive one-time funding but may take up to three years of expenditure, should not be a portion of a larger program unless the grant is requesting matching funds. Successful grant requests should clearly recognize the NDSU Development Foundation and Impact Fund as the source of funding.

Applications are due by Aug. 23. The completed form can be emailed to julieb@ndsualumni.com.

A committee will select a group of finalists who will be invited to make 10-minute presentations during a meeting on Oct. 10. Notification is scheduled for Oct. 15.

For more information about the program and an application form, visit the campus resources section at www.ndsufoundation.com.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation’s top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
