Event set to welcome new NDSU vice president Rusch

The first of the Gear Up for Grants events of the academic year is a chance for the campus community to meet Kelly Rusch, the new vice president for research and creative activity. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Memorial Union Hidatsa room.

Originally from Wisconsin, Rusch was a faculty member and administrator at Louisiana State University before joining NDSU. She is a civil engineer with an emphasis on environment.

Refreshments will be available. Faculty, staff, and students involved in research are welcome. New and junior faculty members are especially encouraged to attend. No registration is necessary.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
