With topics from caregiver support in eating disorders, to advance care planning, and preventing cardiovascular disease, NDSU students shared their knowledge in poster presentations at the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association conference in September.

Poster awards at the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association conference went to:

  1. Steven Lin Condon -  A Self-help Intervention for Caregivers of People Diagnosed with an Eating Disorder
  2. Hannah Murphy - Advance Care Planning and Advance Directives: Implementing Online Education for Healthcare Providers
  3. Natalie Carriveau - Aspirin and Statin Use for Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease

Cassie Holt, Leah Hermanson Wolden, and Natalie Carriveau received scholarships from NDNPA.

“In-person classes paired with clinical experiences prepare our graduates to be team-ready and practice-ready to help patients in their communities," said Dean Gross, director of the DNP/FNP program at NDSU.”
