With the intent to encourage students to take fifteen credits per semester and graduate in a timely manner, NDSU caps tuition at thirteen credits for undergraduate students and graduate architecture students. Meaning, all credits over thirteen are at no additional cost to the student. The tuition cap refers to NDSU tuition charges only. Full-time status, scholarship eligibility, and financial aid may have alternative credit requirements.
Tuition Cap Exclusions:
- Internship/cooperative education credits
- Teacher Leadership Academy credits
- Programs approved by the North Dakota SBHE to utilize a strictly online delivery method
