In this session you will get answers to some of the most commonly asked questions regarding implementing this model. About Dr. Brian J. Beatty: Dr. Brian J. Beatty is an associate professor of Instructional Technologies, Department of Equity, Leadership Studies and Instructional Technologies at San Francisco State University. Beatty's primary areas of interest and research include social interaction in online learning, flipped classroom implementation, and developing instructional design theory for Hybrid-Flexible learning environments. Beatty pioneered the development and evaluation of the HyFlex course design model for blended learning environments, implementing a student-directed hybrid approach to better support student learning. An open educational resource (OER) book titled, Hybrid-Flexible Course Design: Implementing Student-Directed Hybrid Classes was just released and can be downloaded for free.
