The Office of Teaching and Learning is excited to announce that we will be hosting a conference on Saturday, April 2, 2022, for area middle and high school students focused on promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. In the past, this event was titled Expanding Your Horizons and focused on women in STEM. This year, we have decided to open the newly titled Avenues of Scientific Discovery to all students, and will have a 7th-9th grade track and a 10th-12th grade track, offering 45-minute and 90-minute sessions.
We strongly encourage female and minority faculty and graduate students to submit proposals to be workshop leaders, as we understand that representation matters in STEM and in all arenas. Presenting a workshop is a great opportunity to bring visibility to your department/program and build interest for prospective NDSU students. We would like to invite you to submit a proposal for a workshop presentation. Proposals are due by November 30, 2021. You can submit a proposal here: https://ndstate.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_82CvSSbzdSt9Xro.
