NDUS Dakota Digital Academy Seeking Grant Proposals

Applications due February 11, 2022!

The Dakota Digital Academy (DDA), an NDUS program, is seeking grant applications for the development and delivery of online distance education materials and courses or the configuration and delivery of certificates and higher-level programs. Faculty members in all disciplines from any of the 11 institutions of the NDUS and N.D. Tribal Colleges are invited to apply for funding.

Grant applications should align with one of the following areas:

  • Course Preparation and Teaching
    •  Awards will be made for preparation and teaching of a credit-bearing online course.
  • Non-Credit Courses
    • Awards will be made for the development and delivery of online distance education materials or special traveling short courses, workshops, bootcamps, or seminars across the state.
  • Certificate and Program Development
    • Awards will be made for configuring, launching, and instantiating certificates and other programs to be awarded by individual colleges and universities of the NDUS or N.D. Tribal Colleges in cooperation with other institutions. 

Applications received by February 11, 2022, will receive first consideration. There will be approximately 15 awards granted.

Applications will contain the following sections:

  • Project Goals: Explain the work that you plan to accomplish. Please include objectives and tasks.
  • Project Strategies: Explain how your grant application will increase access to quality digital-cyber education, training, certificates, and knowledge.
  • Budget Detail: Provide sufficient detail to support the requested budget.
  • Project Evaluation: Clearly describe your plan and criteria for evaluating the project’s effectiveness.
