Still Time to Register for Instructional Rounds Tonight

Instructional Rounds are an amazing opportunity to see a successful teaching strategy in action.

Tonight (10/4) from 4 to 6: 50 p.m. Dr. Jodi Tangen offers an opportunity for instructors to watch her class's successful use of demonstrations, examples, & activities to offer high experience learning in practical courses. All instructors, faculty, graduate assistants, and teaching assistants are invited to attend this event; however, to maintain the integrity of each course there is a limit to the number of observers for each class.

This course is limited to 4 observers.

Instructional rounds have been adapted to education from the field of medicine. Offering instructional rounds is an opportunity for instructors to do some self-reflection on their teaching strategies and learn new methods in a real-life scenario. Each instructional rounds group is held with only a small number of instructors to allow each instructor to observe and follow up with their questions during a post-class question and answer session. Each instructor takes only what they want from each instructional rounds observation they do, there are no other committments for participants.
