November 9, 2015
NDSU faculty saxophonist Matthew Patnode and pianist Tyler Wottrich are currently presenting recitals and master classes at universities in South Dakota, Missouri and Kansas. The Challey School of Music faculty duo has been invited to perform at South Dakota State University, the University of South Dakota, the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Kansas State University.
In addition to a recital, each faculty member will present separate master classes to the saxophone and piano students at these colleges.

"I am very excited to perform with our piano faculty member, Dr. Tyler Wottrich," said Patnode. "It is inspiring to perform with such an insightful and dynamic performer. Our program will feature 20th and 21st century original works for saxophone and piano by French, English, American and Cuban composers."

This recital will be presented at the NDSU Challey School of Music on Monday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Beckwith Recital Hall. It is free and open to the public.
