Cast & Crew Bios

Katie Hanson (Becky/Crystal): Katie has previously been seen in Theatre NDSU's productions of Cabaret as Lulu/Female Understudy and The Crucible as Mary Warren. She was also the dialect coach for Alabaster this past fall. This production showed Katie that a home isn't one place, it isn't one location, but it is a sense of comfort and belonging. It's a space to be safe, loved, and cared for.

Ethan Hanson (Jason/Jeff): Ethan has been previously seen in Theatre NDSU's productions of Cabaret as Herman/Officer/Max/Swing, Crucible as Reverend Paris, and Edges as Understudy for Man 1. Home isn't just a building, it is the people that make it so—those who support me and encourage me to do my best.

Kate Folkestad (Cassie): Kate has previously been seen in Theatre NDSU's production of Cabaret as Fräulein Schneider. Being a part of this production has helped strengthen the idea that home can be whatever you choose to make it and with anyone that makes you feel like family.

Z Stockwell (Michelle): Z has previously been seen in Theatre NDSU’s productions of Cabaret as Texas. This production has showed me how complex and multifaceted the definition of a home can be especially for kids growing up in the foster care system.

Jilli Schotters (Melissa): Jilli was previously seen in Theatre NDSU's production of Cabaret as a swing and assistant stage manager. This production has showed her that a home isn't a place, it's the people who show you that you are loved and cared for.

Piper Gimbel (Stage Manager): Piper has been involved in Cabaret as an assistant stage manager. This show really makes you think and shows you that home doesn’t always mean family, it means those who love you and care for you and are always there for you. Home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling.

Lily Habighorst (Scenery Run Crew): Lily has previously been part of the wardrobe crew for Theatre NDSU's production of Cabaret.

Lissandra (Scenery Run Crew): Lissandra was a part of wardrobe crew for NDSU's production of Cabaret.
