All students interested in NDSU’s Doctor of Pharmacy program must be accepted to study a major at NDSU. A formal NDSU application for admission must be submitted through the Office of Admission website by all applicants, with exception of current or former NDSU students. Former students must apply for readmission to NDSU through the NDSU readmission page.
In addition, students interested in pharmacy must apply to the professional pharmacy program. All applicants to the NDSU Doctor of Pharmacy program must apply using the PharmCAS admissions website. The PharmCAS application requires the completion of a standard application (which all students applying to any accredited pharmacy program in the U.S. must complete) and a supplemental application for each specific pharmacy program to which a student wishes to apply. It is imperative that the NDSU Pharmacy supplemental application be completed and submitted to the NDSU School of Pharmacy by all persons wishing to be considered for acceptance into NDSU’s Entry-Level PharmD Program.
A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher is required before an applicant will be evaluated. Applicants who are NOT currently NDSU students must submit official transcripts of previous academic work to the University's Admissions Office and one set to the NDSU School of Pharmacy. NDSU requires the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT). Students applying for 2022 are required take the PCAT in July, September, October or November 2021. NDSU will accept PCAT scores from exams taken back three years (July 2018 to November 2021).

NOTE: Transfer students are urged to submit transcripts and applications as early as possible to assist the college with evaluation for equivalencies.
