On Saturday, September 17 at approximately 3:00 a.m., University Police responded to the report of an assault. The crime occurred on campus near the intersection of College St. and 12th Ave N.
According to the police report, two or three men approached the victim as he was walking northbound on College Street across 12th Avenue N. During the incident, the victim's phone was knocked from his hand and he received a punch to the head at which point they fled. The perpetrators were last seen fleeing the location southbound on College Street away from campus. The victim did not require medical attention.
The description of one of the suspects is as follows: black male, 19-20 years old, with red shirt and black pants and light facial hair.
