Tonight, July 24, at 11 p.m., Officers were sent to a report of shots fired at 1201 N University Drive. Upon their arrival, they located an adult male with what appears to be a gunshot wound and the shooter near by. The victim has life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The suspect was detained without incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
