Welcome to the homepage of Dr. Benjamin D. Braaten at North Dakota State University, Fargo ND. We specialize in phased array antennas, conformal antennas, antenna designs for RFID, electromagnetic interference (EMI), computational electromagnetics, antennas in complex radiation environments and metamaterial-based antenna designs.

Some of our latest work (updated 6/16/16):

We have been collaborating with AFRL personnel on the development of a structure that responds to magneto-static fields. These structures have been used to control the behavior of printed antennas.
