Where We Work

Home

Most of our work takes place in rangeland ecosystems defined broadly as non-forested areas where the dominant vegetation is comprised of grasses, forbs, and shrubs.  Rangelands in the western US are typically vast and characterized by extensive management strategies, however rangelands in portions of the Great Plains have experienced considerable fragmentation and are often more intensively managed.  Our work spans this spectrum.
