Crenulate winged grasshopper

Adults

  • Slender body form.
  • Antennae weakly ensiform.
  • Lateral foveola not visible from above.
  • Post-ocular stripe interrupted from below by a light gray streak from anterior margin of pronotum (see C. occipitalis).
  • Tegmen with a wavy, crenulate pattern and a white basal streak.
  • Outer face of hind femur bicolored- dark brown above and gray below.
  • Hind tibia pale gray to blue.
Nymphs
  • Slender body form.
  • Post-ocular stripe interrupted from below by a light gray streak from anterior margin of pronotum (see C. occipitalis).
  • Outer face of hind femur bicolored- dark brown above and gray below.
