  • Pronotum shaped as in M. sanguinipes.
  • Mesosternum with a median hump.
  • Wings extend beyond abdomen for more than length of pronotum.
  • Supra-anal plate trilobate.
  • Coloration of M. sanguinipes
  • Size of M. packardii.
  • Extinct- fragmentary specimens from grasshopper glacier in Montana.
