  • Integument glossy.
  • Head stripes running parallel to sutures.
  • Pronotum gray laterally with a black patch and a pale crescent.
  • Tegmen with a white streak at base.
  • Outer face of hind femur with cross-bands.
  • 'Knees' black.
  • Hind tibia orange.
Nymphs
  • Integument glossy.
  • Head stripes running parallel to sutures.
  • Pronotum with lateral lobes laregly black with a white anterior margin and posterior crescent.
  • Outer face of hind femur with cross-bands.
  • Nymphs occur earlier in the season than those of Psoloessa delicatula.
