29a.  Ptagia unmarked, forewing costal margin white; hindwing without pink or red, with heavy black marginal spot-band.  Apantesis nais (Drury).

       

 

29b.  Ptagia with black central spot, fw costal margin variable, hindwing with rose pink near anal margin and heavy black marginal spot-band.  Apantesis phalerata (Harris).*
