Identification key to the Plusiinae occurring in the Dakotas

 

7 (6').    Hindwing with veins M3, M2, and CuA1 convergent, forewing usually
        with a dark spot in fringe of cell M2.  Pseudoplusia includens (Walker).* 

       

 

7' (6').    Hindwing with veins M3 and CuA1 convergent, vein M2 slightly apart,
        forewing without a dark spot in fringe of cell M2, or dark spots in additional cells. 
        Genus Autographa.  Go to 8.
