Agriphila vulgivagella (Clemens 1860)

Common name: Vagabond sod webworm.

Hodges #: 5403.

Identification: Rfw 11.6 mm, fw fringe metallic gold, vein interspaces with dark scales, frons conical, proboscis with scales at base.

Similar species: 5391, 5399, 5404.

Distribution: Generally distributed in southern Canada and United States.

Hosts: general feeder on Poaceae– grasses.
