Besma quercivoraria (Guenée 1857)

Common name: Oak besma.

Hodges #: 6885.

Identification: Rfw 18.18 mm, fw apex acute, f/hw wings sharply angled at M3, pm line even in course across both wings.

Similar species: 6725, 6731, 6733, 6735, 6739, 6819, 6820, 6982.

Distribution: eastern United States.

Hosts: Larvae feed on Quercus– oak, Ulnus– elm, and Populus– poplar.
