Catocala concumbens Walker 1858

Common name: Sleepy underwing.

Hodges #: 8833.

Identification: Rfw 30.7 mm, fw silvery gray without streaks or dashes, hw ground color pink with uninterrupted white fringe, prothoracic collar brown.

Similar species: 8832, 8834.

Distribution: Yukon to Nova Scotia, northern U. S. east of the Rockies.

Hosts: feed on Salix– willow and Populus– Poplar.
