Diachrysia balluca Geyer 1832

Common name: Listed here as 'Green-patched looper moth.'

Hodges #: 8897.

Identification: Rfw 20.4 mm, fw with highly metallic green patch. 

Similar species: 7885.

Distribution: southern Canada and temperate United States, mostly east of the 100th meridian.

Hosts: Larvae on Humulus lupulus L. (hops), Populus tremuloides Michx. (Trembling aspen), and Rubus spp. (Raspberry).
