Pseudeva purpurigera (Walker 1858)

Common name: Listed here as 'Meadow rue looper moth.'

Hodges #: 8899.

Identification: Rfw 14.4 mm, fw  with well defined pm line from inner margin to apex, inner margin concave before tornus.  Fw venation quadrifid.

Similar species: 8896, 8898, 8901a, 6251, 6252, 7196, 8534, 8536, 8554, 9512.

Distribution: central Canada to south temperate United States, southwestward to Arizona.

Hosts: Larvae reported from Thalictrum dioicum L. (early meadow rue) and T. polygomum L. (tall meadow rue).
