Pseudeustrotia carneola (Guenée 1852)

Common name: listed here as ‘Pink-barred glyph.’

Hodges #: 9053 under Lithacodia.

Identification: Rfw 10.1 mm, diagonal pale pinkish bar on fw, first four abdominal segments with successively larger black tufts.

Similar species: none.

Distribution: southern Canada and United States east of the Rockies.

Hosts: Larvae feed on Rumex spp.– Dock.
