Tarachidia erastrioides (Guenée 1852)

Common name: Small bird-lime moth.

Hodges #: 9095.

Identification: Rfw 7.9 mm, head brown, vfw fringe white with fuscous shading ante-apically, sub-apically and in tornal angle.

Similar species: 8089, 9090, 9109.

Distribution: southern Canada and eastern United States.

Hosts: larvae feed on Ambrosia– ragweeds.
