Acronicta morula Grote & Robinson 1868

Common name: Ochre dagger moth

Hodges #: 9236

Identification: Rfw 20 mm, apical, tornal and basal dashes present, pm line deeply incurved around tornal dash. Ochre scales present on thorax, fw base, and filling of reniform.

Similar species: 9237, 9238.

Distribution: Southern Canada, U. S. east of the Rockies.

Hosts: Larvae feed on Ulmus– elm, Tilia– basswood, and Malus– apple.
