Welcome to Electric Materials and Nanotechnology Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Dakota State University! Our research is focused on innovative materials and devices for energy conversion, storage and conservation. It involves a wide range of topics on solar cells, lithium ion batteries, supercapacitors, and solid state electrolytes. Nanotechnology and microfabrication have been intensively used in our research to create advanced materials and devices. We also do first-principles and finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulations to analyze material's properties, design devices, and predict the performance of devices. Come join us to explore the mystery in the world of electric materials, energy devices and nanotechnology!
