Information for Presenters
 
Abstract Submission
To submit an abstract, please complete the abstract submission form and send it to Dr. Robert Gordon by Tuesday, March 26th, at 5:00. Be sure to indicate your preferred presentation format (poster or paper presentation) and time (morning, afternoon, or either). We will do our best to accommodate scheduling preferences.
 
Poster Presentation Guidelines
A corkboard-like display and pushpins will be provided for each poster. Posters should be no more than 48” wide x 36” high. Please note that we do NOT have easels to hold poster boards. We provide some useful general tips for presenting posters here.
 
Morning Poster Session
Room of Nations, NDSU Memorial Union
9:30 am - 10:30 am
 
Posters should be put up between 8:30 and 9:30 am, and must be taken down by noon. At least one author should be present at all times during the poster session.
 
Afternoon Poster Session
Room of Nations, NDSU Memorial Union
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
 
Posters should be put up between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm, and must be taken down by 4:30 pm. At least one author should be present at all times during the poster session.
 
Paper Presentation Guidelines
Each presenter will have a total of 15 minutes. Your talk should be 10-12 minutes long, allowing an additional 3 minutes or so for questions. You can find some helpful tips for paper presentations here.
 
A media cart with a computer and projector will be set up for Powerpoint presentations. You should bring your presentation on a flash drive. Please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts so that we can load your presentation onto the computer.
 
If you require any additional AV equipment, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to make the appropriate arrangements.
