Takeya, C. - Worked primarily on the Tingidae of Japan. PI: Ent. Dept., Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan (KUEC)

Tamanini, Livio (b. Feb. 25, 1907, Trentini, Italy; d. 1997) - Worked on both Coleoptera and Heteroptera; considered to be one of the most important Italian heteropterists of the 1900's. Published (1967) book on the fauna of Heteroptera of Italy.  He was one of the principal workers on the genus Velia (Veliidae), and he also produced monographs on the pentatomid genera Carpocoris, Codophila, and Dolycoris.  Collection is now deposited in MCRI (Martinelli 2000). Citations: Galvagni (1998) and Conci (1999).

Thomas, Cyrus (b. 1825; d. 1910) - Collection deposited in the U.S. National Museum of Natural History (USNM). Citations: Goding (1888), Anonymous (1906, 1910), Forbes (1910) and Rehn (1910), Howard (1930), Essig (1931), Weiss (1936), Osborn (1937), Mills (1958), and Mallis (1971).

Thomson, Carl Gustav (b. Oct. 13, 1824; d. Sept. 20, 1899) - Heteroptera deposited in the Museum of Zoology, Lund University, Lund, Sweden (MZLU). Citations: Anonymous (1899a-e), Verrall (1899), Bengtsson (1900), and Papavero (1975).

Thunberg, Carl Peter (b. 1743; d. 1828) - Collection deposited in 1885 in Universitets Zoologiska Institut, Uppsala, Sweden (UZIU). A few of his pentatomoid types described from South Africa have been located in the Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet, Stockholm, Sweden (NHRS). Citations: Duméril (1823), Anonymous (1829), Fée (1832), Rose (1850), Hagen (1857), Strecker (1878), Musgrave (1932), Hanström (1955), and Papavero (1971).

Todd, E. L. - Several publications on the Gelastocoridae.

Torre-Bueno, José Rollin de la (b. Oct. 6, 1871, Lima, Peru; d. May 3, 1948, Tucson, AZ, USA) - Collection deposited in the Snow Entomological Museum, University of Kansas, Lawrence (SEMC). Citations: Anonymous (1948), Hungerford (1948), Olsen (1948), Reminton (1948), Sherman (1948), and Mallis (1971).
