Aeschrus Spinola, 1850: 37.

Eurhinocoris Stål, 1853: 214. (syn. by Bergroth, 1887)

Type Species: Aeschrus: Aeschrus inaequalis Spinola, 1850, by monotypy. Eurhinocoris: Eurhinocoris straminipes StDl, 1853 (= Aeschrus inaequalis Spinola, 1850), by monotypy.

Tribal Placement: This is the type genus for the tribe Aeschrocorini.

Included Species:
inaequalis Spinola, 1850

Comments: This genus is presently monotypic, the only known species, inaequalis, occurs in Africa.
