Apateticus (Eupodisus) Schouteden, 1907: 52:70, 71, 73. (new name for Podisus Herrich-Schäffer, 1851; see Thomas, 1992, p.74 for nomenclatural history)

Type Species: Podisus: Podisus vittipennis Herrich-Schäffer, 1851, (= Arma nigrispina Dallas, 1851), by subsequent designation (Opinion 1755, 1994). Telepta: Telepta crassimargo StDl, 1860, by subsequent designation (Kirkaldy, 1908).

Taxonomic Placement: This is a predatory group, belonging in the Asopinae.
