Type Species: Bonacialus Distant, 1901: Bonacialus dixoni Distant, 1901, by monotypy.

dixoni Distant
 

Tribal Placement: : Distant (1901) originally placed this genus in the Dymantaria (= Myrocheini). Both Ahmad (1990) and Zaidi (1996) included this genus in the Aeliini.  We tentatively place it in the Carpocorini.
