Tribal Placement: Bergroth (1918) originally placed this genus near either Dandinus, a member of the Podopinae, or Paranotius, a member of the Halyini. Gross (1975) included this genus in his Ochisme group of genera, in which he also included Ochisme, Turrubulana, and Dysnoetus.
