Aline Barcellos
Museu de Ciências Naturais
Porto Alegre, Brazil

I work at Museu de Ciências Naturais (MCN), Fundação Zoobotânica do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. I am currently the curator of the terrestrial Hemiptera (including Heteroptera and Auchenorryncha) at MCN, and one of the Associate Editors of the scientific periodical “Iheringia Série Zoologia.” My interests are taxonomy, phylogeny and biogeography of Neotropical Pentatomoidea and, more recently, biodiversity of terrestrial hemipterans in southern Brazil, including their use as potential indicators of environmental impact.  I am also initiating the study of Neotropical Scutelleridae.
