Distribution: United States (AZ, CA, FL, TX), West Indies, Central America, and northern South America.

Type Information: Pentatoma antiguensis Westwood, 1837: ST(S), Antigua, OXUM. Pentatoma taeniola Dallas, 1851: ST(S) (♀), Central America, BMNH. Crato urbicus Distant, 1893: HT ♂, Guatemala, near the city, BMNH. Thyanta picturata Ruckes, 1957: HT ♂, Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico, AMNH; 3♀ PTS, AMNH.
