*Important Notice Regarding Transcripts Between North Dakota Public Colleges and Universities (NDUS)

For the purpose of being admitted to another North Dakota University System college or university, you do not need to order a transcript from NDSU. Instead, the NDUS college or university to which you have applied will be able to retrieve your academic transcript from NDSU at no charge to you.  You will, however, be notified if you have any hold on your academic transcripts for outstanding debt owed to an NDUS college or university.  No refund will be granted for individuals who inadvertently request transcripts to be exchanged between NDUS colleges and universities via the National Student Clearinghouse.

Transcript Requests

Official Transcript Request

An official transcript is a certified record of the academic work done at North Dakota State University.  It includes classes taken, credit hours earned, grades received, grade point averages, honors and earned degrees.  The entire academic record will be sent upon ordering.

Official transcripts are printed on security paper with the official North Dakota State University watermark as well as the signature of the registrar.  The security paper will render the official transcripts void if photocopied, scanned or faxed.

Ordering Online (hard copy and/or electronic transcripts)

Transcripts can be ordered to be sent via hard copy or electronically through the National Student Clearinghouse, an NDSU authorized transcript ordering service. Electronic transcripts must be ordered through the National Student Clearinghouse and are protected by Blue Ribbon security.  When sending to an email address, transcripts are accessible for 30 days from the date they are opened.  After 30 days, the transcript locks for security purposes and will not be accessible.
