Wednesday, November 1, 2017 - The annual NDSU EXPLORE Research Showcase encourages and celebrates the scholarly accomplishments of NDSU undergraduate students and provides an opportunity for them to display their research and creative projects for the campus and the public.  See the NDSU EXPLORE webpage.


Day-long event with oral presentations and poster sessions.
Luncheon and keynote speaker.

SEPT. 13 & 14 - By appointment: one-on-one meetings with Dr. Mullany - (limited availability)
Priority will be given to faculty members actively planning an NSF proposal submission in the next year.

Dr. Brigid Mullany will provide an overview of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the funding opportunities within the Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI) division. Emphasis will be on the Advanced Manufacturing cluster which includes the following programs: Cybermanufacturing Systems (CM), Design of Engineering Material Systems (DEMS), Manufacturing, Machines and Equipment (MME), Materials Engineering and Processing (MEP), and Nanomanufacturing (NM).  She will also speak about the review process, the elements required for a strong proposal submission, and the benefits of getting involved in the review process. 

Dr. Mullany will host a brown bag session on the NSF CAREER program and will be available for a limited number of one-on-one meetings.
