RHA Executive Board Applications

Open Positions/Application Deadlines/Election Dates:

    App deadline: 11:59pm on January 26
    Election: January 29
  • VP/NCC and Admin Director
    App deadline: 11:59pm on February 2
    Election: February 5
  • PR Director and Event Coordinator
    App deadline: 11:59pm on February 9
    Election: February 12 


    Election Information:

    Elections will be held during the RHA meeting (7pm Cater Hall Multi-Purpose Room). 

    Election procedures:

    1. Each person submitting an application will need to be formally nominated from the floor from an RHA member.
    2. Each person nominated will have 5 minutes to present on who they are, why they want the position and their goals for RHA.
    3. Following the presentation, there is a 5 minute Q & A time that can be extended twice by 5 minutes each.
    4. Candidates will not be in the room while opponents are presenting or while the decision is being made.
    5. All candidates will immediately be told the results at the RHA meeting.

    As a RHA Exec Board Member, you are expected to uphold all expectations for all positions outlined in the RHA Constitution, along with:

    • Attend Executive Board and RHA meetings Mondays from 7-8:30pm
    • Attend and participate in the transition sessions: March 17 from 4-6pm and April 28 from 4-7pm (dinner required)
    • Attend the Bison Leadership Institute on April 14, 2024
    • Attend the NACURH Annual Conference May 24-27, 2024 at Loyola University of Chicago
    • Attend the Summer Retreat
    • Be in good standing with the University (academic and judicial)

    RHA Executive Boards Members cannot be student staff members.
