The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is comprised of representatives from each of the 12 NDSU residence halls, who meet weekly with the executive team in the Memorial Union, Monday nights at 7:00 pm. The RHA office however is located in Seim Hall and their phone number is (701) 231-2239. RHA provides members with numerous on-campus leadership opportunities, helping them to grow as both students and leaders.
Want to be a part of RHA? Apply online today! Applications are being accepted until Saturday, August 26 at 11:59pm.
What is RHA?
Residence Hall Association is the voice of the on-campus students at NDSU. We promote Living, Learning, and Leading, as well as many fun on campus activities throughout the year.
What on-campus services does RHA provide?
That is an excellent question!
•Coinless laundry (you read that correctly - free laundry to on-campus students!)
•Residence Life Cinema movie network (www.reslifemovies.ndsu.edu). This service showcases new and classic movies that are chosen by the students and is free of charge!
•The Readership Program provides on-campus students with daily copies of newspapers such as USA Today, the Fargo Forum, and the Minneapolis Star Tribune
What does the RHA fee provide?
The RHA fee provides funding for its' operations. This includes, but is not limited to programming events (such as Welcome Week), leadership training, conference attendance and travel (the MACURH regional conference would be an example), recreational equipment, scholarships (yes, you can potentially receive a scholarship just for being a student leader!), public relations, promotional materials/incentives and prizes, and recognition.
How is RHA funded?
A non-refundable fee of $83 is what helps fund RHA and is charged to all students living within the residence halls.
