Women: Do you want to learn self-defense?
If you said YES, you’re in luck. NDSU is hosting a class and would like to invite you to attend.
R.A.D. is a nationally recognized program in self-defense for women. As the cornerstone of R.A.D. Systems, this course has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes some workshop style lecture and discussion. Most of the course involves practicing actual self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities. This class iscurrently only offered to women.
Each class is six sessions that are about 2 hours in length each for a total of 12 hours of instruction. NDSU will be hosting a class this October at the NDSU Memorial Union. The class is going to be on Tuesdays AND Thursdays on the following dates from 3-5pm: October 17, 19, 24, 26, 31, and November 2. Deadline to sign up for the class is Friday, October 13that 11:59pm.
The course is only $25.00, payable at the first class meeting. This fee is non-refundable once you have attended the first class. This fee covers a complete course manual, instructor training fees, and light refreshments.
