Office of External Affairs

 

The Executive Commissioner of External Affairs works to develop relationships with state officials and policymakers to improve higher education at NDSU. The commission assists in writing legislation and stays informed about various issues. The commissioner also attends State Board of Higher Education and Interim Higher Education Funding Committee meetings to stay informed on information regarding the North Dakota University System and will testify on NDSU’s behalf when needed. The executive also organizes NDSU's involvement in the North Dakota Student Association (NDSA) by being the head delegate.

Major: Marketing   

Favorite Hobby: Traveling and listening to music  

Fun Fact: I can juggle.  

Favorite Thing About NDSU: Bison Pride!  

Why you chose NDSU: I chose NDSU because it was the perfect distance from home and it was small enough to have my voice heard but large enough to have unique opportunities that other universities might not offer. I also loved the campus!  

Why you are in Student Government: I joined Student Government because I wanted to create a positive impact on NDSU as well as expand my leadership and service!

Organizations: Bison Ambassadors, College Republicans, Big Brother Big Sister

Favorite Hobby: I love playing piano.  

Fun Fact: I have an eye freckle. 

Favorite thing about NDSU: Being able to see someone I know anywhere on campus.  

Why you chose NDSU: I chose NDSU because it felt like home the moment I stepped foot on campus. 

Why you are in Student Government: I joined student government to make the university better and really keep students informed on what is happening.
