About the External Affairs Executive Commissioner
Hometown: Canton, Kansas
Major: Agricultural Systems Management and Agricultural Education
Favorite Hobby: In the extremely rare event that I do have any amount of free time, I like to work with leather - carving, stamping, embossing, etc. But usually I spend my free time catching up with friends around campus.
Fun Fact: I refer to the northern food 'hotdish' as casserole and am constantly mocked because of it.
Favorite Thing About NDSU: The people here make it feel like home.
Why you chose NDSU: The size of campus and the affordability and quality of the education attracted me, but the feeling of family made me stay.
Why you are in Student Government: I joined Student Government as a student senator quickly after coming to NDSU. I was looking for a way to get involved and meet people on campus. I found exactly that and so much more.
Organizations: Agriculture Systems Management Club, Agriculture Week Coalition, Farmhouse Fraternity, and Agriculture Future of America.
