Events and Programs

Serve with the Herd (ongoing throughout the year): Monthly “mini” days of service.

Boo! at NDSU (October 26, 2017): Student groups run booths at a Halloween carnival in the Mathew Living Learning Center. Children from around the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo community are invited to enjoy a safe and fun Halloween festivity.

The Giving Tree (early December): Take an ornament off the NDSU Giving Tree to provide gifts to children of students, staff, and/or faculty at NDSU that need assistance during the Holiday season.

Nonprofit Opportunity Fair (January 24, 2018): Come learn about volunteer opportunities by networking with over 50 nonprofit partners. List of nonprofits that will be attending this year’s fair as well as volunteer opportunities!

MLK Service Day (January 15, 2018): Over 300 NDSU students turn their day off from school into a day on for service in the community in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Big Event (April 11, 2018): Over 400 NDSU say “thank you” to the community by giving back through volunteer work.
