Partnering with a variety of campus programs, we aim to offer an extensive menu of options for you to choose from. Whether it be an event for your residence hall, a Fraternity or Sorority Life gathering, or student organization event, we hope to have something to meet your health and wellness needs.

Alcohol and Other Drugs
Before One More: Alcohol and Your Group
This session is intended to give your group feedback on the opinions of your members about alcohol and other drug use and how it impacts group cohesion, the image of your group, and the desirable/undesirable role alcohol plays for group members. All members will complete a survey prior to the session which will be used to help guide the group discussion. The survey results are not shared with any other administrators, faculty, staff or students who are not a member of your organization. This presentation has been very helpful for a variety of NDSU groups and leads to plenty of open discussion. (60 minutes)
- A list containing the e-mails of all attendees must be provided at least two weeks in advance, which is used to distribute the survey.
LIVE REAL Mentor: Basic Training Session
An introduction to the LIVE REAL Mentor Program. Participants will learn about the effects of high risk alcohol and drug use and how to take steps to promote an environment of safe and responsible attitudes toward alcohol at NDSU. (60 minutes)
LIVE REAL Mentor: Marijuana Session
Attendees will learn about the basics of marijuana, use rates at NDSU and nationally, and how to challenge myths and assist those struggling with use. This session is a supplement to the LIVE REAL Mentor Program. Participants do not need to have previously attended the LIVE REAL Mentor Basics program. (60 minutes)
LIVE REAL Mentor: Alcohol and Sexual Violence Session
Learn about the relationship between alcohol and sexual violence in this session. Social norms regarding sexual behavior and alcohol will be discussed, along with the impact of alcohol on both victims and offenders and the role of alcohol in victim blame. Participants do not need to have previously attended the LIVE REAL Mentor Basics program. (60 minutes)
*Computer and projector are required and must be provided for all LIVE REAL Mentor training sessions.
Wellness Center Sampler
Just want a taste of what the Wellness Center is all about? Request this three-piece activity sampler and come check it out for yourselves! Here you will have the opportunity to tryout a few of our many opportunities such as participate in a Group Exercise Demo or try your hand at a new game- such as Wallyball on our racquetball courts. This opportunity will allow you to better understand just a few of the great programs the Wellness Center has to offer. Great for University 189 classes! (45 minutes) *minimum of 10 participants required.
Group Fitness 2 Go:
Let us bring the workout to you! All classes/offerings are 45 minutes in length. A sound system (including CD and auxiliary input) are required and must be provided. All classes are $50.

Unwind & Flow Yoga
The first half of class is a flow, warming the body just enough to prepare for a restorative second half of class, where you will use props and your own body weight to hold deep, relaxing poses for extended periods of time. You will feel like you just received a massage!
*15 mats will be provided for yoga classes.

Share. Survive. Thrive. is a student organization and support group who support victims of domestic and sexual violence. This presentation defines, explains and shows the statistics of domestic and sexual crimes through trivia questions, hand-outs, and empowering stories from survivors. It covers violence in a broad perspective, but also specifically the NDSU campus. (30 minutes)
The Body Project
Request a Body Project Workshop
The Body Project is designed to help college-age women resist cultural pressures to conform to the thin-ideal standard of female beauty and reduce their pursuit of unhealthy thinness. The Body Project is supported by more research than any other body image program and has been found to reduce:
- Appearance ideal internalization
- Body dissatisfaction
- Negative mood
- Unhealthy dieting
- Eating disorder symptoms
The Body Project program details:
- Two 2-hour sessions (4 hours total) scheduled 1 week apart. (Student groups are asked to register only if all participants are able to attend both 2-hour sessions)
- Led by trained peer facilitators
- Conducted in a small group setting (minimum of 7 and maximum of 12 students needed for workshop, not including peer leaders)
- The Body Project is aimed toward individuals who identify as women; however, everyone is welcome to participate.

This presentation is titled BeYOUtiful, with emphasis on YOU, because we want to highlight and celebrate the fact that each and every one of us are different and beautiful in our own unique ways! Presented by the Body Project Peer Leaders, topics such as body image, appearance ideal, and fat talk will be introduced along with information about the Body Project Workshop and how to get involved! (50 minutes)

Think you know all there is to know about being well? Try your hand at a game of Health and Wellness Jeopardy! Great to play in the Residence Halls, in your Fraternity or Sorority, or just with a group of friends! (45 minutes)
Stress, Substance Misuse, & Wellness
Stress is incredibly complex and we all experience it! Learn about the different kinds of stress, understand the relationship between stress and your overall well-being, and find ways to best cope and manage that stress in a safe, healthy, and low-risk way. (50 minutes)
7 Dimensions of Wellness
Wellness is about more than just diet, exercise, and physical health. Understanding the different dimensions can be tremendously helpful in improving your own wellness! Here is your opportunity to learn more! (45 minutes)
