We Take a Stand: Required Training for Incoming NDSU Students
Welcome to North Dakota State University! An important part of becoming a member of the NDSU campus community is to complete the We Take a Stand training, a sexual violence prevention training for students. All incoming and reactivating students are required to complete this program which focuses on interpersonal violence, sexual violence, stalking, and expectations for how everyone can play a part in making campus safer.
This requirement takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and it will cover material related to:
- the prevalence of sexual violence
- how to prevent sexual violence on our campus
- how to safely intervene in situations where sexual violence may be committed
- resources available to those who have experienced sexual violence
We have a number of sessions available to choose from during the first few weeks of fall semester. Register for a training session today!
What do I do if I forgot which session I signed up for?
No worries! It's a busy time of year and if this occurs, you are able to log back in to the registration website to view your upcoming events.
Select "login" in the upper right corner of the webpage. Once you log in you will be able to view your session information by selecting "registrations" in the menu on the left side of the screen. Simply use the log in that you would use in order to access any NDSU computer.
What do I do if I have a scheduling conflict and I need to switch to a different session?
Scheduling changes happen. If you log back into the webpage you will have a list of training sessions you are currently registered for under the "registrations" tab on the left side of the page. Once you find and select the We Take a Stand event, select the "cancel" link on right side of the screen. Simply cancel your registration and then you may go back and select a date and time that works better for your schedule.
