Summer and Fall 2020 New and Transfer Students
You will receive information about how to complete your We Take A Stand training by email in mid-August.
Welcome to North Dakota State University! An important part of becoming a member of the NDSU campus community is taking part in the We Take a Stand training. We Take a Stand is an interactive program focused on preventing violence on our campus. In the training students will learn how to recognize signs of sexual violence, dating violence and stalking, how you can safely intervene if you see a friend or classmate in a potentially unhealthy situation and both local and campus resources.
All in-person sessions for the Spring 2020 sessions have ended. To access the online version now available via Blackboard
- Log in to Blackboard and click on ‘Community’ at the top of the page.
- Under ‘My Organizations’ in the middle of the page, you will see ‘We Take A Stand: Seminar for First Year & Transfer Students-Spring 2020’. Click on the link.
- There is a PowerPoint with the presentation for you to view. Make sure your audio is turned up so you can hear the presentation.
- Once you have listened to the training and viewed the slides, you will need to take a short quiz. You need to receive at least 80% to pass the quiz. The training is not complete until you have passed the quiz.
