2016 Transfer and Non-Traditional Student Orientation and Registration Dates

A variety of orientation and registration dates are available to transfer and non-traditional students.

Students can register for either a drop-in registration session or an orientation and registration session beginning in late February.


Drop-In Registration Sessions

  • Monday, April 18
  • Friday, June 24

Convenient, drop-in registration sessions will be held Monday, April 18, and Friday, June 24, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the Memorial Union. Student services staff and an adviser from each college will be available to assist you. On these days, students can speak with an adviser, consult with a transfer specialist, register for summer and/or fall classes, obtain an NDSU ID Card, and take a campus tour.

Orientation and Registration Sessions

  • Monday, August 22

Half day orientation and registration sessions will be offered Monday, August 1, and Monday, August 22. The sessions will acquaint you with the NDSU campus and give you an opportunity to discuss the many facets of university life. On these days, students can learn about a variety of student services, meet with an adviser, register for fall semester classes, obtain an NDSU ID Card, take a campus tour, and participate in a variety of optional activities.
