Transfer and Non-traditional Student Registration Options

Transfer and Non-traditional students have a few different options to assist them with their transition to NDSU since each student has different needs.

Drop-In Registration

Student services staff and an advisor from each college will be available to assist with course selection and registration.  Session dates are Monday, April 20 and Friday, June 19.  Reservations for drop-in registration will be made available beginning March 5th.

Orientation and Registration

More structured and traditional orientation programs are available as well.  On July 31 and August 24, students will have an opportunity to chat with current NDSU students, learn about services available to students, have lunch, meet with an advisor and register for courses. The July 31 session is a full-day session, while the August 24 session is a half-day session that takes place on the day that classes begin (at 4 p.m.). Reservations for orientation and registration will be made available beginning March 5th.
